Home Sweet Home Austin’s Janet Cloudt is no stranger to the Austin real estate market, and when she decided to create a fresh approach to the traditional realty website, Alyson Design was there to assist. Janet had a number of very specific goals for her new business website, both visually and functionally, and once again a fully custom WordPress theme was the solution.

Anchoring her site is a Community section, which not only serves as a place for Janet to post personal blog entries and informative articles, but also gives users online space to interact and submit their own informative content. Visually, the site takes a big detour from the typical real estate website, and it gives the logo we designed a bright, comfortable new environment to live in. This project also included integrated MLS search tools, a featured properties section and featured neighborhoods pages, all of which can be quickly and easily updated through the administrative dashboard.

Custom WordPress Theme: Austin Centric Realty

Always excited about pushing WordPress code to achieve results way beyond a typical blog, Alyson Design partnered with Austin Centric Realty to create a fully custom real estate website theme. Principal Ross Cole is not new to the Austin real estate market, but his company is, and he wanted to create a fresh website that would set him apart from the typical Realtor crowd. With an ever changing inventory of properties for sale and for rent, the ability to efficiently update listings was a main priority, and the WordPress content management system allows just that.

This custom WordPress theme features extensive information for potential home buyers and sellers, integrated MLS search features, exclusive for sale and for lease listings, news and blog sections, and informative sections for each of the central and east Austin neighborhoods they specialize in.

Identity Design: Austin Centric Realty

Branding and logo design for up-and-coming Austin real estate firm, Austin Centric Realty, Ross Cole, Principal.

For this design, we employed the use of modern, bright (almost neon) colors on a dark black background for a product that would stand out against the competition, especially in a yard sign. You can’t miss these bright blue signs while driving around central and east Austin!

Logo Design: Byrne Real Estate

Alyson Design created a new logo for Byrne Real Estate, an Austin-based agency. The design was used to create business cards and new outdoor signage, and can be seen in front yards all over town.
