Building a brand like the Opal’s Divine Mary Mix requires a cohesive look that runs from product, to advertising and marketing, all the way through to the website. For this part of the project, we created a custom WordPress website that not only reflects the Opal Divine’s brand, it encourages participation by fans and users alike! We’re looking forward to more tall tales on the site’s blog from Michael Parker, founder of the Opal’s Divine Mary Mix.

Custom WordPress Theme: Home Sweet Home Austin

Home Sweet Home Austin’s Janet Cloudt is no stranger to the Austin real estate market, and when she decided to create a fresh approach to the traditional realty website, Alyson Design was there to assist. Janet had a number of very specific goals for her new business website, both visually and functionally, and once again a fully custom WordPress theme was the solution.

Anchoring her site is a Community section, which not only serves as a place for Janet to post personal blog entries and informative articles, but also gives users online space to interact and submit their own informative content. Visually, the site takes a big detour from the typical real estate website, and it gives the logo we designed a bright, comfortable new environment to live in. This project also included integrated MLS search tools, a featured properties section and featured neighborhoods pages, all of which can be quickly and easily updated through an administrative control panel.

Custom WordPress Theme: Austin Centric Realty

Always excited about pushing WordPress code to achieve results way beyond a typical blog, Alyson Design partnered with Austin Centric Realty to create a fully custom real estate website theme. Principal Ross Cole is not new to the Austin real estate market, but his company is, and he wanted to create a fresh website that would set him apart from the typical Realtor crowd. With an ever changing inventory of properties for sale and for rent, the ability to efficiently update listings was a main priority, and the WordPress content management system allows just that.

This custom WordPress theme features extensive information for potential home buyers and sellers, integrated MLS search features, exclusive for sale and for lease listings, news and blog sections, and informative sections for each of the central and east Austin neighborhoods they specialize in.

You can’t miss Austin Centric Realty’s bright blue signs while driving around town these days – check out the identity branding we created for them here!

Custom WordPress Theme: Watermark & Company

Watermark & Company’s owner had some very specific visual goals for their website redesign, and with an ever-expanding project portfolio, the ability to make updates themselves was a priority. Using WordPress, we created a fully custom, functional and easily updatable site with an easy to use CMS control panel. To further enhance the new site launch, we brought a fresh logo idea to life, printed coordinating business cards, and redirected some of their online marketing efforts toward strong organic SEO performance.

Custom WordPress Theme: Austin VeeDub

Alyson Design created a custom WordPress theme for Austin VeeDub, a locally famous mecca (for the air-cooled VW set) known for their veteran Volkswagen mechanics and 8 acre salvage and recycled parts yard. The site launch also integrated our Organic SEO Starter Kit to maximize their position in organic search engine results.

Custom WordPress Theme: West Austin Neighborhood Group

Alyson Design created a custom WordPress theme for the West Austin Neighborhood Group (WANG), a non-profit organization of residents with the shared goal of preserving West Austin and protecting it from deterioration. Project included logo revision, events calendar customization, a random banner generator and PayPal member subscription manager.

Website Design: Austin Cycling Association

Non-profit cycling advocacy group chose us to assist them in their re-branding project that included a logo update and new website design. Everything was then customized into a Drupal theme, resulting in a much easier to navigate member interface. The ACA is dedicated to furthering bicycle access, safety, education, and enjoyment by sponsoring weekly bike rides, training, informational programs and an annual charity bike ride. Go ACA!

Custom WordPress Theme: Jack Kill & Stickman

Alyson Design teamed up with illustrator Douglas Brown to create a new online presence for Austin, TX band Jack Kill & Stickman. Keeping within the constraints of a working band’s budget (Josh has definitely been there himself!), and knowing that the ability to update the website themselves was a main priority, we customized a WordPress theme to complete the job. The site allows the band to easily manage the site, as well as update news, upcoming shows and photos from home or on the road.
