How do you take a tasteful and classic printed album showcase and transform it into digital format without losing the charm and elegance of the printed form? This was the challenge Resort Information Inc. presented us with when we met in their Austin based office.

We took the look and feel of their restaurant recommendation books, which can be seen at concierge desks of fine hotels around the world, and created a companion custom WordPress theme design that includes a few special features. The website allows for easy updating by all of their administrators, populates various restaurant data and organizes it automatically, and features a Flash-based PDF viewer that allows the user to experience each city’s restaurant menus in a more traditional “flip book” format. The theme can also be used to manage multiple websites, allowing administrators to create custom content for each site that reflects the specific city where they promote their restaurant partners.
