College Houses, the student owned housing community serving the UT Austin area, worked with alyson design in crafting a redesign that reflected the both the personality of the students living and working in the coop community as well as the functionality that a modern web application requires. Features include an online bill pay and reminder system, interactive calendar, A custom content management system so students can update their individual house web pages with text and images, as well as an admin managed listing of currently available units. In addition to the PHP database functionality built into the main site, we included a matching Word Press blog so the students can keep the community updated on the latest news and events. |
